Yeehaw! Getting excited.
Very cool. Where are you headed?
Leaving Squamish, driving some of our stuff, 2 dogs and a cat to Moncton New Brunswick.
You know it's a long distance when you put those locations in Google Maps and instead of a road map appearing, you get a picture of the earth...lol.

Wow, that is quite the haul!
And what a wonderful time of the year to make journey!
Thats a lot farther than 200 miles. These car aren't much but they are super dependable. Good luck with your drive and stay safe.
Does Canada not have major cross-country roads? Seems strange to me that you have to go through the US for most of the trip.
We are sticking to the Canadian side.
Factoring in the price of a dollar, fuel prices are $0.13 a litre more here. Since I'm on the Mirage forum, I dont need to explain how little difference that makes (my 4x4 forum just doesnt get it bahaha). Plus I can't cross the border with my edibles and assorted pot stash.
It's only a few hours longer to stick to the Canadian side. Motels are way cheaper as well. It will cost more to go stateside, especially since fuel economy goes out the window doing 130km/h on an interstate.
Edit, 2.25 hours longer.
