Canada 2022 sales & total US/Can sales ALL years
I've been slacking on keeping this thread updated the past few quarters.
(Thanks, Mark for taking the initiative with the year end numbers for the US.)
Here's Canada for 2022:
Quote:
Mitsubishi’s subcompact car Mirage had 1,626 units delivered in the calendar year

Wow, that's actually up from the previous year (911)!
---
This year we'll surpass 200k Mirages sold in the U.S.
TOTAL sales, 2014-2022:
US: 194,745 total sales at end of 2022.
Canada: 20,525 @ end of 2022.

Mirage vs. the cheapest car (US)
Attachment 24721
The Nissan Versa sedan is officially the cheapest car in the U.S. (Though I've seen many bloggers mistakenly state that the Mirage is.) The base 5-speed starts at $15,730 (+ $1095 delivery).
The Mirage outsold it last year.
USA:
The Versa had a HUGE drop last year. The previous year, Nissan moved 60,913 of them!
Unlike the Mirage, at least the Versa can still be had with a manual transmission (5-speed).
Rounding out the cheap car sales competition in the States for last year:
I'm too lazy to look up whether those can be had with a stick. Dim memory says "no" for the Accent.
