I was wondering if there was any way, either through reprogramming or some more brute force method, to allow me to leave the engine running, leave the car, and lock the doors? I'm a delivery driver, so if I can cut the number of starts in half, it should double the life of my starter motor. I understand that I'll be wasting a little gas, but not enough for me to care. I can spend an extra fifty cents a night to avoid a major repair.
