This doesn't make sense - how can one drive farther on half the amount of fuel?Quote:

Yeah that's a new one? I'm not sure I get what you're saying.
if I fill up my tank I get 500 km, when I fill up half tank I get about 300km same driving style don't do anything differently.
Most gas gauges I have ever paid attention to are not linear and poorly correlated to actual fuel in the tank until it gets close to empty.
