Do you have a picture of what you're talking about?
Attachment 275 this one
it's about 300 euro indeed. too expensive and my dealer even told me not to get it because it's too narrow and uncomfortable anyway
I would want one of these. Most of my driving is highway trips, and it's nice to be able to rest your right elbow there, and the left on the door arm rest.
Lol mine as well, do mostly highways. I don't really miss the arm rest since I'm always picking up snacks or candy with my right arm and left arm on the door. Foot sometimes rested way up on the gearing console or on the seat since I'm on cruise control.
thats not really save it it maverick
Did anybody find a decent, not too expensive armrest already?
Hi Zefke
I got mine as part of an accessory pack. I have posted some pics so you can see it with purple seats. Note the cup holder in the lid for rear seat passengers.
The only place I have seen one to buy other than a dealer is eBay. I have posted a link below.

Oh wow thanks for the tips, it's a very nice price unfortunately it doesn't ship internationally
Hi Tim,
Thanks for the tip. That indeed looks like the real deal. Like Maverick says unfortunately they do not seem to ship internationally!
I noticed that they designed this rest not to come near the parking brake lever. But I'm wondering if it is really comfortable when you use it? Can you rest your arm on it while holding the steering wheel?
Personally I don't use the parking brake that much so I wouldn't care if the armrest would interfere a little with the usage of it.
Take care
Paul
I c. I still think it's placed too high, but looks comfy. Not for 300 euro for a piece of plastic hahaha. I use the parking brake on every traffic light as I don't like to keep my foot on the brake. I also don't like it when am behind someone and keep getting the ultra bright brake light!!!! So I don't do that to others as well.

Contacted them via email said they would ship quoted me 36 pounds so $58 to ship 7 days to bedford heights ohio
It gave a mitsu part number and its a dealership from what I saw online. Thats the best I could do so far. Still working on my buddy stationed in germany see if h e could get a good price being local
too bad with our Ringgit Malaysia conversion will hurts my wallet. damn !!
I just picked mine up yesterday. Think I'll let Mitsubishi I stall it, too much cutting and drilling that I could ruin
There is not a lot of options in the US I am thinking of this one for the Yaris and seeing if it will work.

You can find these on amazon going from 50 dollars up to about 80 dollars.
Great price, and it looks fine to me.
Is it fastened somehow?
It comes with screws to fasten it down but I didn't want to drill into the cup holder. To make it secure I used a non skid rubber material I had laying around that I put around the inside of the cup holder doesn't move at all. I did have to modify it to fit properly it had a piece of plastic coming from the bottom.

I had to chip that little piece on the bottom off. overall I love it, it might be a little inconvenient for those with a 5spd mine is the cvt, it doesn't block the E brake but makes it so you have to pull it up from the side of the armrest instead of pulling it straight up.
Cool:cool: The price seems to be OK, as well as the fitting. On the pics it looks like the color is a little different from the rest of the interiour, is that correct?
How is the build quality? It looks like there is an other compartment on the back side, or is that a cup holder for the rear passengers?
It is a little bit darker still a dark grey, Its not as noticeable from the front seat but from the back seats you can tell it is darker. It is pretty solid I think it will hold up just fine. As for the compartment in back it is a rear passenger cup holder, it is pretty flimsy though I will post some pictures of that tomorrow for you.
Really a worthwhile upgrade. I dont like how its leather and the mirage has no leather option though :(
I'm surprised is doesn't attach via clips onto the rims on the left and right sides of the cupholder. When I was at the dealer, I checked the cupholder out to see how the armrest might attach, feeling around it with my fingers, and thought for sure that would be how it was done. That would instantly cut the price if no modifications were required to fit it. Maybe the rims as is are not strong enough to hold it in all situations, but I'm sure Mitsubishi could fix that without too much effort. I didn't get one in the end due to the price, although a bit better haggling when buying the car (Mirage LS CVT) might have cut the price from an extra AUD288 to an extra AUD200. I had hoped someone in China might sell them, but haven't found any yet, but I also don't fancy drilling & cutting the cupholder area to fit it. And if I instead get a Mitsubishi dealer to fit it, it'll probably end up costing too much.
I checked here on Ebay and Amazon, but it seems this particular model for the Yaris is only sold in the US. The one's they sell over here do not have the round insert that fits the Mirage Cupholder but are also attached via clips onto the rims on the left and right sides of the cupholder...
Thats a pity, because I like it al lot....:(
Maybe they start selling them here in Europe too once they find out it also fits the Spacestar...
Just ordered mine off fleabay. 42.99 inc. shipping. Hopefully will be here by next week.
Got mine instaled when they put new lights on my car. Charged me 88.10 :D
Am happy with it :) Nice place to rest my elbow while I cruise along.
^ That's not bad. About 80usd. I wonder how much shipping to Texas would be...
OK, for those of you who now have the console arm rest and a nice soft place for your inboard elbow (notice I avoided saying "right elbow", since we don't all sit on the left to drive...)
Have any of you looked at padding for the driver's door arm rest? It's hard plastic, probably not very comfy for long distances.
The one I got was a yaris one. Link me a mitsu one...

I posted it earlier in this thread. they would ship internationally but its like 5 times more than what you paid for yours.
Dont think they ship to US.
