25 most popular MirageForum topics / threads of 2018!

Well, 2018 was a decent year.
We're mixing things up just a wee bit: going by views/post counts, this retrospective handicaps topics that are started late in the year. So I'm including a few stand-outs from Nov/Dec of 2017 in this year's list.
Notable this year: Daox got himself a used Mirage and got right to manufacturing mods for himself and for other owners. (I didn't even include all his threads that were on the actual top 25 list! Too many.) Oh and we had our first Mirage meet. Numerous other enthusiast owners shared their mods, and details of a few repairs. Sadly, a few crashed Mirages made our top-25 list.

1) HVAC heat blows warm/hot on drivers side, cool/cold passenger side (warranty issue)
A few members have reported sub-par heater output after some time and have had warranty work done. It turns out it the heater core was gummed up by a mystery substance.

Daox has created a kit and instructions for enabling cruise control on cars that didn't come with it from the factory. The kit includes a 3-D printed switch that fits in a blank in the dashboard.

3) Alternator delete with regen braking modification for better MPG
Efficient car models from various companies have featured "smart" alternators which reduce charging voltage under certain conditions to save fuel, and then step it up again when coasting/braking -- a sort of mild regenerative braking. (Euro/JDM Mirages have this from the factory.) This modification enables it on a regular Mirage.
