Hello all,
. . . . I traded my Mirage in on a 2019 Accord with 29K miles on it. Much nicer car. Sorry folks for leaving the Mitsu scene! I am enjoying my job at NAPA. It is hard but I am doing it!
GOD Bless and Thanks,
rich!

All together the dampening isolates the sound of the vehicle's suspension and power-train by eradicating road chatter
The Second layer of dampening (charcoal colored) atop makes all the difference... knocks to the floor are now a muted thud instead of a high-medium pitched knock

I discovered that my "fog lights" are actually DRL. I also got a chuckle discovering that my base ES 2020 doesn't have power locks. I kinds knew this going in and choosing the base trim, but it felt weird after living with power/central locking on every other car I've had. Except for the base KIA Rio that I bought new in 2004. Regret trading in that car. I'm a less-is-more kinda guy
Opened up the rear drums for inspection and cleaning @ 53,212 kms. Haven't had the rear brakes checked since around the 40,000 km mark, so when I heard some faint noises while stopping, I thought I'd do some cleaning.
Brakes look pretty good, but damn, those nuts were on so tight a gorilla must have serviced my brakes previously!

Look at the size of the cheater pipe I had to use on this thing! I had to lean on the end of the pipe with a good amount of my weight, and when it started moving thought I was about to break the knuckle joint off the breaker bar. Immense relief followed when I noticed that the socket was actually finally turning!

I put those nuts back on properly, with a torque wrench - 175 Nm (ish). I reckon it took about 5x the amount of torque to remove the right side one off (and maybe 3x for the left one)!
Today's weather allowed me to try the rain sensing wipers. Weather Tech mats arrived, and installed.Attachment 22441
I had a remote starter installed.
Got my cell phone cupholder today.

Applied a rubberized undercoat to front wheel wells and undercarriage! that was two cans for each quadrant, thusly, ill pick up two more cans for the aft section of the vehicle. I'm also gonna pick up some nice lug nuts too while I'm at it
Neat, didn't know about these, got one on the way for myself, I've been through about three with different issues, window mount gets phone too hot, steering wheel mount is not so good for charging and vent mount means I can't have the heater on, so this will be good
