85A/95A Alternator Part#s & Specifications

At least one UK alternator part# (some UK Mirage 2013 1.0 & 1.2L models & the IE Space Star II 1L 2013) is 1800A359 .
The US alternator appears to have the part# 1800A316
(e.g., OEM Mitsubishi Parts (US) do not list a 1800A359, only the 1800A316)
Comparing labels we see,

(note - neither Denso US nor UK currently list a replacement for a Mirage or SS II alternator).

These labels and other sources indicate that the current rating for the 1800A359 is 95A, and for the 1800A316 it is 85A.

A brief online search shows the 1800A359 is not available in the North American market but can be found online on ebay.

The 1800A360 alternator is listed for the North American market 2016 & 2017 Mirage and is rated at 85 amps.

Not sure why Mitsubishi changed our alternator from 1800A316 to 1800A360.

Alex16 I wonder if this has anything to do with your flickering electrical system voltage issues?

If you have auto start stop, you'll want a larger alternator to more quickly recharge the battery. We do not have that feature here in the US.

Hey Daox I forget were you tracking these part numbers somewhere?

I have a thread specific to the engine. I don't see any reason why we couldn't add accessories to it, or start a new one on accessory systems.

3A92 engine parts history (changes over the years)

It would be really nice to compile some of the part numbers for features that some countries don't have (like auto start/stop or whatever). If someone ever wanted to try to add those features they'd have part numbers available.
