When the '14 gets home I guess it will need
Trans fluid change
Oil change
Brake fluid change
Radiator fluid change
Pull a wheel to check the brake lining.
Mount snow tires
Block heater (maybe...)
It's remarkably clean, so nothing required there.
What else should I do on this 239,000km car?
Krown? Although there is no warranty from Krown on cars older than 3 years or with more than 50,000 Km.
Test the battery? Wiper blades, make sure it has winter washer fluid in it. Check Air filter and cabin filter.
maybe a new serpentine belt or battery if needed. the belt is cheap and takes about 10-15 minutes to switch out.
Might want to check the alignment.

Brake fluid should be changed every two years according to Mitsubishi. I say after three years latest. Why? It reacts with the humidity and becomes watery. Watery brake fluid has a lower boiling point and rusts the steel brake cylinders from inside! Fluid is easy to change and cheaper than any parts plus labour.Quote:
