I like those a lot. Would look great on my black mirage
Nicki, there is a video showing the lights lit up, go here and they aren't cheap;

After you see the video let me know what you think.
I like the way Car and Driver magazine summed up our car;
This basic five-door transportation comes in candy-jar colors with a good warranty and a maximum fuel-economy rating of 44 mpg highway. The Mirage is maneuverable, its one-ton weight is easy to throw around and its controls/inputs are effortless. It gets decent performance from a 74-hp 1.2-liter three-cylinder and the five-speed manual, but the fuel-saving CVT is better for traffic. Like fast food, it is inexpensive, doesn’t pretend to be something it isn’t, and gets the job done.
AMEN
Jackson has them on his mirage:

They suite a white mirage nicely. Would also look good on a black mirage.
Mistah JT, thanks for the pics, I was wanting to see what they looked like on our cars, they seem to be a worthwhile $350.00 investment. Do you have any info on what kind if any warranty the lights have? Thanks in advance.
Carl
Yeah, they look good but I wonder if they are holding up well. You know some lights have water issues.
Attachment 3057This blacked out one would look great on my black Mirage
Mistah JT, could you let us know of any known issues that Jackson has with water getting inside these lights
Cchataway, I think I'm going to order the dark ones i posted. With you being a previous law enforcement.. Would there be any issue with inspection?
Nicki, before you order I have sent an email too a frat brother who is a DPS Inspection officer for clarification. I'll let you know as soon as I hear. I sent him your picture of the blacked out lights and what the light looks like without the tint.
Hey mate,
The product is amazing, they look beautiful in person, the pictures I took don't do them justice. When it comes to waterproofing, whatever water does seep it's way in, it just goes right through like the OEM tail lights.
You shouldn't have any issues when it comes to that, the only issue I have with the product, is that when they arrived, the left rear tail light had slight marks, and didn't sit 100% flush like the other side did, giving it a tiny bit of poke.
I'm still in constant communication with them trying to get the left one replaced.
I'll attach a photo for reference.

Thanks Jackson! That's great to hear! I will order me a set of them soon a Cchataway gets back with the legal specs far as the blacked out ones for my black car. Jackson, did these just plug in with no issues?
Nicki, don't give up on me, still waiting to hear back from the trooper. Those lights are sharp looking and I bet they will really set off your black Mirage. Can hardly wait too see them , once you get them installed give a picture in day light and one at dusk, not dark, okay?
I sure will. Just LMK what your guy says
Nicki, 10-4
Yes I am also eager to see them on a mirage state side, I am also curious if they set off the warning lights in the dash like led bulbs have done for owners.
Jackson, can you answer alex16 question about the wiring issue and warning lights with the after market tail lamps like you have? Thanks
Yeah, that would be a big deal breaker
Nicki, that's all you need is self induced problems! LMAO
Yes 3dplane and a few others reported traction control/abs lights coming on after switching to led tail light bulbs in stock housings... 3dplane had to add a diode to solve this issue with the taillights.

Yikes. I don't think I'm willing to risk all that mess. Maybe if these lights were cheaper it wouldn't be a big deal but we are talking nearly $400 for a product that may cause issues. I'm out on this one boys
understood! I am all for these tail lights! I am sure once I have coilovers, side skirts, and a few more ultra racing goodies out of the way these will be on my to do list, even if they require adding a diode as 3dplane did, it would just be nice if they were plug and play... or plug and stop? haha
Exactly. I was all ready to order if it was simple as pluging the ******* in. But I'm not getting all into cutting wires and stuff. At$400 these should be plug and play
Yes,what a mess that was! Thanks for the link,I had to read it because I already forgot what exact trouble I was going through in 2013 with the cheapo LED bulbs.
Now I believe if the lamp/LED circuit was designed from the ground up to deal with the mirage's sensitive modules in mind, they could probably build it in a way that it could be (and it should be) plug and play!
Yeah and at $400 they should have made it that way. Test the products
Nicki, my trooper buddy said if the tail lights can be seen through the tint then you are good to go. And after reading your other post I guess the lights are a dead issue, and I don't blame you, why create a problem for you and if the lights create an issue that requires dealership work the warranty might be at risk.
Jackson, this may have already been asked but, have you had any electrical problems since installing the custom tail lights?
Yeah, I was really wondering if Jackson had to do anything other than plug and play
LED brake lights will always screw around with the system, as they draw less. They can cause the cruise control to stop working, the abs to malfunction.
LED turn signals will also cause the remaining halogen bulbs to flash rapidly as they draw less than what is needed.
What a nightmare.. I'm sticking to OEM
Love these!!! I WANT THEM!
Typically when adding stand alone leds to a car that did not have leds, a $5 resisistor is all that is needed. As far as the fitment, its not uncommon for aftermarket lights to bave minor issues with sealing or fitment. My aftermarket lights also let some mositure in, I haven got around to heating the compound and pushing it together more. One of the lights also sticks out very slightly due to the sealent being extra thick on one edge. In all nothing worth the trouble of tryinv to get a replacement since these are jdm/taiwan/china items
I've got these, they'll disable traction control and cruise control. They're available via Ebay for $280. They do look good, but be prepared to purchase and install 2 resistors per light to eliminate the problems they cause. It isn't that bad an install, but tight and you'll need a second set of hands to hold the light while you mount the resitors.
