No, no and no. The Lancer is closely related to the Outlander Sport. Many parts are interchangeable between these two models but the Mirage/G4 platform is not related to the Lancer platform.
I'm using the Fumoto F106S (short nipple) on both my Mirage and Outlander Sport. I also use a short 3/8" hose with the Fumoto nipple connector (SH-10). Makes oil changes so easy.

I just replaced the OEM battery in my 2015 about 6 months ago. Pretty good but I live in a very mild climate so I'm sure that is a big factor.

No surprise there. The Outlander, ASX & L200 are very popular in that region. Most are diesels. The Mitsubishi diesel engine they put in these are extremely reliable and will take a ton of abuse.
