MirageRally - That impact sensor might have been triggered by the deer impact. It takes 2 sensors to set off (at least) the front airbags. I'm not an automotive impact sensor guy, this is just what...
Nice. Although, it looks very much like Ford switchgear.
Good to know I'm not the only one who realizes this. Same situation (maybe some year variance) for BMW and Audi. To me it seems that Porsche is the only real holdout, that can still build some...
Us guys (and gals) on a forum, who might choose different oil brands, weights and filters, I bet the difference between our wear on our engines ultimately would be close to, if not, negligible. ...
Looking at my records, I did an oil change at: 437 miles, 1044 miles, 2235 miles, and 5250 miles. The next oil change at ~7,500 miles (as the info screen indicates) I'll let the dealer do so they...
I wonder if I can get me one put away on layaway somehow.
Holy crap! I totally forgot about that. Makes sense now. I had to pull out turning left into heavy traffic the other day. I swear that sucker bout shredded the left front tire. It's gotta be due...
I have a dash cam. If it showed me driving like I was racing in a rally event, in the rain, with 1 wiper, and ran off the right edge of the road and injured a pedestrian, I might get pinched.
...
Glad to hear you gotter back on the road. I'm wondering if in a hundred or 200 years, there will be a solution to deer impacts and future people will think our generation were Neanderthals for not...
I had to use the 1 wiper system today. Works just fine for the driver. If there was a passenger, they probably wouldn't be so enthused ... but I care not.
I removed my passenger wiper last night. Even sitting still, the AVG MPG jumped up 10 mpg...
I removed the obtuse RH side wiper. You know the one that is mounted halfway up the windshield up in the airflow. MPG up at least 10 mpg! :D
I tried to relocate the driver's side down one tooth...
You're not NOT NEEDED. Lesson #1 through #10, PUT DOWN THE DAMN PHONE! There's no modern electronics to learn 'em that.
Pryme - We no longer like you. Go away. J/K. I had a 2004 Corolla until my wife decided to let another car crash into the driver's side 2 doors. I'm a Toyota guy, and a former Toyota design...
It is, but I couldn't get it to work. I'm generally a stickler for following instructions exactly ... and I did, still no go.
He was WRONG, and I am RIGHT! :stupid:
The other day, I'm rowing through the gears pleasantly, and it dawned on me what our 3-Tapper sounds like. (3-Tapper because it doesn't have enough power to bang ... it just taps.)
It sounds...
I got a good chuckle out of that, because I was glad it WASN'T ME that is mostly annoying! :D
Why do you wanna go and get everybody riled up? Maybe you should change your UN to Woody Woodpecker, not Wolf! ;)
Fummins, I must have missed something in the instructions. I tried to get mine to do this same thing (as I've done with all my other cars). When I want to unlock the car, I want all doors unlocked...
Having worked as a design engineer in the Automotive world for both Toyota and Hyundai-Kia, I'm going to have to say, the PityOnU is SPOT ON in this regard.
It is quite amazing how the Hyundai...
That's just silly. I don't care about the look on mine, I just want minimal drag.
Congrats Dweeker! I watched Dog Decrapo's video and I was SOLD. I did however rent a G4 from Turo on a trip I took with my sons to Las Vegas. It was a CVT, but I had driven a couple 5 speeds at...
When I go to a car wash, I pop the hood and use the vacuum cleaner on all these windshield cowl areas that collect. The vacuum (hose) pulls all this debris up real quick. It pulls debris out that...
