I'm too lazy to do KM and CAD conversions right now...so I'll just talk in general terms. If you're getting ready to spend serious money ($25K+ USD) on a new...
Be sure to get quotes from Carvana, Vroom, Driveway, etc. Carmax is often times towards the lower end of the price scale.
It's possible this dealership service department has never heard of a Mirage with a defective rear axle. A few years ago, this was a moderately common issue (maybe upwards of 10% of 2014-2015...
I just got back from a few days in Tampa. It was just the usual hot...but you're right...the humidity was off the frigging charts crazy uncomfortable. Maybe the worst I can remember. I rented a...
Wait...I thought the symptoms were that it cools great when the car is moving, but not so well when the car is sitting still.
Now you are saying that it cools fine whether it's moving...
Hmmm...I saw that and just assumed it would calculate actual shipping when I put in my zip code. Nope...it stayed $999.99 shipping.
This guy has free shipping on his other brake drums...so I'm...
If anyone really needs those Centric drums right now, there's a seller on eBay who has them. The shipping isn't free and the guy's feedback is a bit sketchy...

Rockauto has been out of stock on 2014-2015 drums for a while. Even the Centric ones that sometimes show up fully loaded or as bare drums...whichever Rockauto feels like shipping out that day...

I wish someone had told me that when I was 17. :D
I used to pump a couple of gallons of CAM2 into my car for the horsepower boost it provided in my 350 Pontiac with 8.5:1 compression....
There have been some compressor clutch failures reported. Because of the pricing, it's pretty crazy to buy a $600 compressor clutch. You might as well get a good used compressor from the newest,...
Yeah...CAGS (Computer Aided Gear Selection) was a pain on GM cars back then...but at least the customer could defeat it with a $10 part. Is there an F-body out there with a 6-speed and no skip-shift...
Here's an interesting one. 2017 Mirage with 18,000 miles...for $6,000. But it's damaged (not terrible). I'll give them some credit for actually attaching the body shop estimate as part of their...
Holy cow! I was expecting to scroll down and see a big door ding...not the entire door and quarter crushed like a beer can.
Could use a windshield? I wonder what that looks like...LOL... :D
While you're at Amazon buying a voltmeter, put one of these in your cart... :D

I've been in a lot of cars that didn't blow quite as cold sitting in traffic as they did when the car was...
Spend another $20 and get a voltmeter that plugs into your accessory port. With this device you won't have to wonder how your battery and charging system are doing.
This will make it a lot...
The (2015) owner's manual doesn't specifically list "flat towing" as an an approved method. You can see below where it is saying..."Hey...don't tow a CVT with the drive wheels on the ground." ...
Take a deep breath and don't buy anything until you give us a chance to talk you off the ledge. :D
Fummins pretty much covered it. Any electrical issues you have at this point can probably be...

The next time you change the oil, consider an oil analysis. I think it costs $30. If you have fuel (or anything else unusual) in your oil, this test will catch it. THIS guy's video explains the...
Yeah...what he asked.
If you don't have any way to monitor the real coolant temperature (like a Scangauge), the green coolant light (that comes on when the engine is cold and goes off at 137...
Yeah...looking down at the filter from the top...standing in front of the car... (pics from inuvik in another thread)...

Dirk...pony up a few bucks for a voltmeter that plugs into your power port. Here is an example of one.
This thing will tell you what the charging voltage of your car is while you are driving. ...
This is an old thread...but related to the current discussion: 15,000 mile oil change analysis
I thought the warranty was good up to 160,000 kilometers in Canada?
Wait...I thought you said everything tested out OK once you fixed the connection.
Must resist urge to ask more questions...
