I installed my Daox sway bar last week. I put about 500 miles on my Mirage this weekend. I like the improved handling of the car, especially on curves and turns. While driving on a highway with a stiff crosswind today, the Mirage also seemed more planted.

I don't notice any added noise while driving down the road, but I am now noticing some creaks from the rear at low speeds (parking lots and driveways). These noises weren't there prior to the sway bar, & they have become quite noticeable.

The right side of my sway bar is wedge tight against the brake bracket. The bar brace seems tight against the axle on the left side. The bar is tucked in above the brake brackets on both side. The sway bar has definitely added a noise to the rear suspension that is most noticeable @ very low speeds.

If the bar braces cleared the brake brackets, it would be easier to experiment (attempting to reduce/eliminate the added creaks to the rear suspension).

Not sure others are noticing this or not, but the sway bar has created some added noises to the rear of my car, too.

Eggman posted some great images that show how the bar should clear the brake line brackets. Its a bit of a pain, but it will tuck up above the brackets.

My bar brackets are above the brake brackets. You wouldn't get the bar attached without doing that.

Finally broke 20,000 miles on the odometer. Took a little over two years to make it.

Makes me wonder how long this car will last?

I put 35k on mine in the first year I had it before I trade it in for an Outlander Sport. I should have kept that little car it would have lasted forever. I might even pick one up they sell brand new 2018 mirages for $8,000 down here in Tampa.

I still haven't replaced my F.A.S.T. key battery, and Speck still starts. It's been over a year since I noticed the blinking key indicator on my dashboard.

If it matters any, I rarely use the remote lock / unlock function. I almost always use one of the door buttons. If it's just me, I'll use the driver's door button. If I have passengers, I'll unlock all doors using the rear hatch button.

It's kinda nice to have this as a problem as it's not really a problem. It's been a reliable car, and it's why I was interested in buying one new.

    So far, so good.

I replaced my battery with one that was available at Dollartree. $1.00 two batteries. Replaced the battery in both of my remotes.

Not many miles on Speck as other Mirages here. I just made it past 22,000 miles.

A couple weeks ago I got a deal on the Air Lift 1000 kit from Amazon. Looking forward to some weather more favorable for installation.

It's fun to watch Amazon for deals. Perhaps next will be a hitch. We'll see.

Had to look up what that was.

What made you decide to try it?
