If i have issues I will probably use components from an older model and convert to R134a since I have 30Lbs.
I thought it already was R134a on these things? At least up to 2020 models

Fummins you think they could of re-tightened the belt too tight after adding on the new alternator?

    That is sooo installer error.

I am not sure if too tight could cause a fray like that. It almost looks like it is either out of alignment which would be a mounting issue OR the fraying rib was hanging over one of the grooved pulleys.

I hope they don't try to pin this on me, claiming the serpentine belt should of been changed even though it's only got 60k miles on that belt.

No mechanic shop would install a new alternator and not attempt to add a belt to the parts list upsale... so either they will try to pin it on you by saying they offered and you denied, or they didn't and then you need to just flip the script and pin it on them "You didn't put a new belt on with a new alternator?!?!"

(PS - I would have put a new one on with the alternator and kept the old one in the spare tire well)
