midengine - glad you solved this quickly!

How about ... lots of coins, straw wrappers, salt packs, so much crap in the cup holders they are no longer useful as a cup holder. My wife treats her car like a mobile trash can.

You have an armrest?! I have to go aftermarket and lose a cupholder to get one of those in my ‘17!

Those aftermarket consoles that mount in the floor cup holder usually have their own cup holder built in. So, it's a break even cup holder count.

    That's awesome!

I've noticed the cabin air filter on my Mirage needs to be cleaned frequently. I clean my cabin air filter off every time I change my oil/filter (every 5,000 miles) now. Most of the time, I just blow the loose stuff off with my air compressor. I replace it about every 2 years with the cheapest one I can find (@ rockauto.com).

I buy quality engine air filters (Wix most of the time), but I can't justify spending big bucks on that puny cabin air filter used in a Mirage.

Mice made a nice nest on top of my Mirage cabin air filter once. I found 52 hickory nuts stored behind my engine air filter a few months ago, too. I check both when I do my oil changes now.

My 2017 ES came with the factory armrest added. You're better off with an aftermarket one. The factory armrest is tiny. If you like driving with your left hand only, you can rest your right elbow on it.

Most of the OEM armrests have a cupholder. I have 3 different armrests, all came with cupholders and ashtrays. At the time there were no cheap armrests with USB ports like they have now but.....I have a multiport USB/CIG lighter gizmo to meet my electronic needs.
