That V6 is a great engine. I love my 2017 Outlander GT. No cvt, either so Dirk can breathe easy.

I'm convinced the Mirage's CVT is better than the Spark's. I keep seeing Spark's CVT issue in reddit forum lol

This is truly extraordinary! I'm expecting 200,000 miles or more from my 2018 Mirage (currently at 107,000 miles!)

And the Outlander GT has a much better towing capacity (V6 & no CVT). 1,500 pounds bumped up to 3,500 pounds with the GT trim level.

I bet the Outlander PHEV will go well past 400k miles.

I definitely agree with that Dirk. The 2.0 4B11 or the 2.4 4B12 are both very reliable and should be even more reliable in the Outlander PHEV because they have been detuned and rpm limited to a maximum of 4500 rpm with a single speed reduction gear box.

A gas engine can't have a single speed gearbox.

The Outlander PHEV uses the electric drive for the transmission, the same as the Chevrolet Volt.
