Mirage to be sold in India in 2015

An Indian auto enthusiast site reports the Mirage is heading to India:

Mitsubishi plans to launch as many as five new cars in India by 2016.

among the most promising offerings could be the new Mitsubishi Mirage hatchback. Mitsubishi Mirage India launch could happen sometime in late 2015.
They describe the styling as a "safe approach ... that should appeal to a majority of car buyers in India."

Is the Beat a 4 or 5 seater in India? Here, the spark's a 4 seater. It may have been a harder choice if the spark was a 5 seater here.

Wow - interesting! It looks like it's the same car in India, but they added a middle lap belt in the back to make it a 5-seater.

The more interesting thing to me is you can get a 1.0L diesel in the Chevy in India.

NOW that's what I'm talking about.

It will honestly be harder to choose between the two.

If you're more traditional, you'd probably go with the mirage (gauge cluster)
If you hate americans, you'd probably go with the mirage
If you've done your homework and plan on buying aftermarket parts, you'd probably get a mirage

As far as looks, I think the spark looks pretty damn good, so I'm 50-50 on that one. (subjective)
