HUD unit lit up warning lights like an Xmas tree

    Good evening-
I plugged in a Car HUD Digital Speedometer Projector Head Up Display OBD2 GPS Overspeed Alarm. Ignition on; all kinds of lights lit up. Gauge lighting turning on and off. I unplugged it. I installed a similar unit on my Grand Caravan with much better results than this... should I return it?

Yeah... don't plug random **** from China into your vehicle's OBD-II port...

There are places on your vehicle where you can cheap out - something that directly interacts with your ECU is not one of them.
