You still have one good right? If you could make a mold of it and then have one 3D printed based off the mold that would work.

Yeah I got a good one, but one of the fins inside the retainer that holds the back part of the bulb in place broke. But someone could make a mold with the broken piece back on there, right?

I managed to find an in tact retainer on eBay from a parting out. Waiting for the guy to get back at me with a price. Also contacted a 3d printer nearby for a quote. Cross your fingers

I got the retainer from eBay and just dropped it off at a print shop for it to be 3D printed. I'm supposed to have it back in a couple days. I'll update with pictures when I get it back!

I'm really interested in the printed part. Make sure you have the material they used on the invoice, I personally would use CF reinforced Nylon or ABS and ask them how they created the file to print from? A 3d scanner is my guess.

Also having the part printed. They're making me two copies. One is ABS and another is ASA. this guy's extrapolating shape from pictures and measurements. Even if it doesn't come out perfect I'm curious to see how close it comes to the original and to see if it works. Worth the $25 lol.

Here's the finished product. Haven't received them in the mail yet but look close enough to the original. I'll let you know in a few days if they fit.Name: Attachment_1673807910.jpg

I'm suitably impressed. If they hold up mechanically it will be a great find. Also, the shop that did the work needs promotion as well.
