I can not imagine a better car to spend $6500 on if you value efficiency, reliability and ease of repair above all else. I paid 11k for my 2017 back in 2019. Definitely could have gotten a better price but I was younger and dumber. It made it to 73k miles with only oil changes before I decided to start doing other maintenance on it for preventative purposes. It has never not started for a reason other than a dead battery. The biggest downsides of this car are road noise and less comfort on long-distance rides. For me this is not an issue. If you have the ability to pay for the car, I do not advise against this purchase whatsoever. If I could go back I'd buy my car again. If something happens to my Mirage and she dies prematurely, I'll be looking to get another one. It is THE best car for my needs.
