    Purchased for ~$5k CAD in 2015.
    TOD: Nov. 2022

    Was rear ended. Spare Tire was pressed flat up against the back seats.
    The Mirages safety system kept me from being seriously injured.

    I'm glad you're OK, too bad about your ride. Still, there's now an engine and CVT going to a boneyard.

    How did you find a Mirage for that price in 2015?

    Sheer luck. and it was only at 42,000km when I bought it, and it was in perfect condition.

    With the insurance payout I was able to make a sizable down payment on a brand new 2023 Mirage.

    That's a darn shame. The red paint still looked might delicious. I'd read about your new car. Hope it is a good as your '15. And glad to hear you weren't injured.
