Inside the headlight there is a metal shroud that covers over the factory bulb. It is so the light doesnt blind the driver coming the opposite way and so the headlight uses the reflector to disperse the beam. It is held in by a single phillips head screw and you need to pull it off in order to use the projwctor mini led bulb. The projector bulb will not use the reflector to disperse light. If you go back to stock halogen or regular h4 leds you will need to reinstall the shroud.

Yes they work great. My mother in law has a civic that needed new bulbs so I put the led bulbs from the mirage on hers and the projector bulbs were 40$ with a 20$ discount on amazon so i figured I would take a chance. Pair that with my yellow JDM style led foglights and I can see the road better than in my 2022 outlander
You got a deal there. My LEDS were $55 but supposed to be a cut above as they are fanless. I must admit they are really good. My other set in my 2014 have fans and I worry the fan will seize, it will all overheat and I'm looking at a car fire. Hmmm. that reminds me my car fire extinquisher needs replacing.

They are working great. Can not recommend as of this moment, as i have only had them installed a few days. Search on amazon h4 mini led projector and read the reviews thoroughly. Thats what I did.
