It looks like the gap where the bumper meets the fender is sorta big. Both cars are similar. Grey gt and burgundy se

I would be dick and refuse delivery of the GT if they tried to FOB that off on me. For each week I'm waiting I'm renting a car and billing it to them. I had this happen with a brand new Cordoba. I really bought one of those? Ugh, SMH. Anyhow, came with a 2V when it was ordered with a 4V dual exhaust. Like it made a difference on a 78 Dodge 360 Smogathon. Anyhow, dealer sourced me the right car within a week. (they told me at first the factory would need to build another and it would be months.)

With ES going for $13,299 with incentives and you having 5% tax you might get a new 2023 5 MT OTD for $15.5K or less. Ya, I'd be doing that if I could.

ETA: The GT also looks like the hood doesn't meet the valance across the grille properly. The valance appears droopy on the side closest to the passenger light.
Zero, 2014 ES Plus 5MT, written off but not forgotten.
Zero II, 2014 SE, 5MT, climate She's HOME now!
    Shelby AKA "Cute", 2017 ES 5MT, A/C.

Mirage owners look at the world differently than everyone else, but in a better way
We're driving the Beetle of the 21st century, the greatest small car now available!

This thing puked out all(or most) of the coolant today in the parking lot. Gonna bring it in later and try to see what's going on there. Looks like it might be coming from the rad itself? Coolant lines to the cvt are tight, rad hoses look fine. Time to sell it and buy beer.

Negative. Car is due for it's second oil change at 12,000km and now needs a new radiator too. Found the leak was hard to spot but pretty obvious now. Dealer wanted close to a grand for a new one and of course would be a week away coming in from Ontario because the nearby dealer sucks. Got an aftermarket sourced from a warehouse in town for around $100. So I guess I'm tearing apart a new(ish) Mirage tomorrow.

Did that radiator get busted somehow? Or does it appear to be a manufacturing defect?

It wasn't a mfg defect thankfully. I thought it was at first. Looks like a rock hit it at the perfect angle somehow, right behind the bumper cover and in the small section of rad that isn't covered by the condenser. Basically a good, worst case scenario. Chances are the temp light wouldn't have turned on once overheated.

And fixed. Relatively straight forward. I'll try to put a vijeo together? Pull the bumper cover then upper tie bar off and it's right there. Now I have to finger out how to shut that stupid wrench symbol off.

Otherwise car runs pretty good now. Put the fancy stock 15" wheels on it and the car got it's second oil change.
