Cars I've had usually had about 50 miles left when the low fuel indicator came on. I don't know if this is an accurate assumption, but I've drove quite a ways after mine came on; maybe 30-35 miles. Not really wanting to make a habit of it.

OK, I've read in the owners manual that after the whole Guage starts flashing, a warning light comes on? Anyone know what it is? It's the last step before the car shutting off.
Mine even Beeps several times when it has One bar left and stripe flashing: around 7 liters left

From the U.S. owner's manual:
Fuel remaining warning display
When the remaining fuel level runs low (one segment is displayed),
the last segment of the fuel gauge flashes when the
ignition switch is turned to the “ON” position or the operation
mode is changed to ON.
When the remaining fuel level very runs low (no segments displayed),
the fuel icon beside the graph and the bar graph flash.
If the warning display appears, refuel as soon as possible.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/499696493468714/ hi all,i i have been discussing this with other mirage owner who lives near me on goldcoast, this is where i think some cars are reading fuel gauge wrong(correct me if im wrong)..when mine gets to all flashing and no black square,i drove about another 30klms and 3 x times when i filled it up i can only get 27-29 litres in until completely full...so i apparently still have 6-8litres still in tank and could get 80-100klms more....this is where in my other comments about fuel im only getting on avg 420klms out of full tank city running and twice now i've only got 580klms out of full tank on a single trip from gold coast to sydney which is mostly highway and 860klms...
Hi wellykids - Does the AUS owner's manual specifically say how many litres should be in the tank when the gauge starts flashing?
The North American manual doesn't.
PS: if you put those aftermarket wheels on your car (shown on your FB group), your fuel economy is going to be negatively affected.

I have a question, since picking up our booger, I have filled the tank twice and both times the gauge was flashing and it only took 7.4 gallons to fill up? I thought this was a 9.2 gallon tank?
There are two different flashes:
1: bar flashing
2: no bar, gas symbol and fuel line (between 0 and 1) flashing
