    I like that idea. I think I'll implement a version of it for my cars and motorbikes.

    Panic button - manual explanation below -

    If you are near your vehicle and feel threatened, you may activate the alarm to call attention as follows:

    1. Press the PANIC button for more than 1 second.

    2. The headlights will blink on and off and the horn will sound intermittently for about 3 minutes.

    3. To turn off the alarm, press any button on the remote control transmitter.

    No joke? Does that give many false alarms in a crowded parking lot?

    I hear them go off accidentally all the time. They remind me of the story of the little boy that "cried wolf" one too many times.

    I would still scream like Hell if something bad was going down!
