2014 Mirage - 14" bottlecaps; 15" enkei GF1 (not pictured); VW bug lowering springs; strut tower brace; rear swaybar
2022 Passport Elite AWD - 18" 2022 Passport Trailsport wheels + Falken Wildpeak AT tires

I don't have pics of most of my previous junk.
First actual vehicle I bought was a 1976 Dodge d-100 318, 4spd bought it, fixed a few things then sold it.
then....
1970 Ford F-100 390,at.Bought for $500,converted from propane to gas, blew up 390, installed 302 from 1979 f150, sold for $500. Found truck in my old town years later and bought it back for $500, installed 429 from 1969 Mercury land yaht then sold again for $500... Never saw truck again
1986 Ford Bronco 300/6, 4spd drove for a year or so, smashed it up a lot. Blew engine, replaced it. Then removed body and installed a regular cab from a 1988 F250 and tiny flat deck and 35" tires.

That's all I can remember off the top of my head.
I currently only own a 2014 Mirage(black) and an 05 Dodge 3500 Drw diesel 6spd 4x4. The wife has a 2020 Korea Sorento v6.

I definitely considered the Kia Sorento. The wife preferred the roomyness of the Passport versus the potential of using the 3rd row of the Sorento.

I drove a friends 2019 (?) base Sorento and it was comfortable even with the 4cyl.

I don't have a picture of the whole fleet. But this is what is currently in the stable. I'll list in order of procurement.

• 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins 6-speed long bed 4x4 (the last vehicle I will part with)
• 2010 Lexus LS 460L (stole it, the first vehicle I will part with)
• 2003 Toyota Camry LE (got from my parents dang cheap)

Sorento versus Passport: Passport = The Smart Move!

While it may be the smart move, the features of the Koreans (Sorento/Santa Fe) make it seem otherwise.

Strictly talking about features & materials, comparing the top of the line Santa Fe (which is 3-4k cheaper btw), to the top of the line PP, the Santa Fe feels like a luxury brand.

We used to have these (serious) meetings at Hyundai. And the Korean engineers would say, "the NF is the same quality as a Lexus." And the American side would LAUGH and LAUGH and LAUGH. Those were somewhat good times. It just made us crack up because they were so serious when they said that, and they were so oblivious. Me having come from Toyota in design, I was always shocked with the differences in design mindset, drawing quality, actual skill, and the humble confident feeling of being around engineers who actually were good at what they were doing versus being around these H-K jokers.

Good, respectful people to live with, but ridiculous jokers when it came to actual engineering skill.

Here's what I have right now.

The Bug has followed me around for about 30ish years, & the Mirage is now my Pick-up as I always mostly had Ford Rangers before that (and a 1977 Austin Mini that I Really miss!!!)
Oh & the Queen has a 2012 Mustang Convertible & a Subaru Legacy that I'm somehow responsible for???
