    Attrage Trunk Swich Button

    Dear Mirage fun,
When i press trunk switch button it doesn't work. Actually i press it but it dosen't click.

I checked the with multimeter when i press trunk button from car key the lock shows me 12V (maybe 5v i couldn't remember very well) and then i checked the head of the trunk swich socket with multimeter there is no any value when i press the swich.

So i'm looking for a trunk swich button to replece it. I found it from mitsubishipartsnow.com for $57.64 it is very expencive.

Do you know any cheaper alternative for this swhich even used.

Sorry, there is no warranty anymore. It's 2015 model, 8 years old.

Did you test the switch(check for continuity between contacts) itself or just check for power at the latch while pressing it? If the switch used to click and doesn't now then I guess you're likely right about the switch being the problem... If it's just a simple 2 wire momentary switch then it shouldn't be hard to find a universal one that'll work. https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/6ggAA...u2J/s-l500.png https://www.ebay.ca/itm/314187857971...Bk9SR7rAhdnBYQ

Looks like this G4 one only has 2 wires and mounts like a normal lock cylinder does. The one I posted above would hopefully fit the same hole. The third wire would be used for a backlight.
