You guys are very sharp to notice the very good fuel consumption numbers. Yes, it is the CVT transmission. We live in a rural area with local speed limits of 50 and 60 km/hr. The highway has a speed limit of 90 km/hr. Like all vehicles, speed kills fuel consumption. I'm attaching a graph of fuel consumption. I don't know how clear it will be -- the red line joins all the individual fill-ups and the green line shows a running average of the last 5 fill-ups.

I hadn't been on this forum for a few years until I started this thread. It is great to see MetroMPG and other long time contributors along with newer members. Everyone has made this a very good forum for the last 10 years. Thanks.

I was at Mitsubishi this morning for service on the 2014 Mirage. I saw this red 2023 Mirage GT in the showroom. If my wife had been along, she would have been drooling over the new one. That would be a problem because she thinks the new ones should sell for the same price that we paid for the 2014.

I want that set of wheels!!! Perfect compliment to my G4. Problem? Well too expensive for the alloy rims alone.

The G4 alloy rims, on the other hand look decent but not a fan of limited tire selection of 175-55-15.

It's perdy. Not as perdy as blue though.

What's the story of the old Eclipse on the other side of the showroom??

Behind a velvet rope, no less.

And what's the deal with those green exit signs? I had a hell of a time trying to find my way out of a hospital a few weeks ago. I'm sure anyone watching the security camera's thought I was either drunk or escaped from the pysc ward. I'm guessing the red Exit signs must have been too offensive to somebody.

Edit: Don't mind me, I live under a rock...I guess I just haven't been in many modern up-to-code buildings very often...

I don't know. I saw it but didn't investigate. I just took a quick turn through the showroom to see the Mirage, but I didn't want to engage with any salesman. That's why the Mirage photo is not so good. How old would the Eclipse be?
