I like the black roof and spoiler, but those fender covers are terrible.

If it had a raised suspension and AWC I'd find it somewhat acceptable but just slapped on a Mirage? I'm with you it looks terrible.

Those fender things remind me of DIY stone chip guard you painted on from back in the 80's.

If the BE had a manual transmission, I would like it.

As things stand now, I wouldn't be interested in any 2023 Mirage.

The fender extensions don't really do much for me (positive or negative). My only concern related to them would be - do they hinder or enhance rusting over time?

This might work out really well for cars with rust holes in those areas. With a scanner a guy could create a file for 3d printed parts.

Funny thing, the 3d part could actually be real CARBON FIBER, or mostly. I've run nylon/cf blends in the area of 20% CF. Very, very tough and durable parts. We're talking prop spinners for 250 mph hipo single engine aircraft.

I didn't think those came factory when I first saw them. I thought it was a goofy dealer add-on thing. https://mirageforum.com/forum/showth...on-quot-mirage
Like most flares, they probably trap dirt and will speed up the rust process. But also like most flares, they'd be great a good add-on to hide existing rust.
