    No longer a mirage owner

True story. Title was signed over last night.

I had a clause on the Bill of Sale to let me know 5 days in advance before she sells the car. I want to get my parts back.

I want another mirage but the wife says no.

I'll stick around on the site, though, if y'all don't mind.

Mirage owners can be like Marines. They never say "I was a Marine. They all say, "I am a Marine!"

Once a Mirage owner, you are always considered to be a Mirage owner in my book!

Wife versus Mirage? I wonder if that would be a tough choice for someone?

    I shouldn't say it, but that'll never happen. I hope I'm wrong.

My gut tells me it will wind up at a salvage yard in the not so distant future (for any manner of reasons).

Mark - I'm still chuckling about the request for a PICTURE of ... the boat and motor!

I do too. The car definitely has a lot of life to give. But she's in need and that's what I had to offer.

Either way, if the car does go to salvage, I hope I get to pick up the parts so I can donate them to someone on here.

Bummer. What’s going to be your next car?

These two are currently in the garage. inasmuch as I want another beater, wifey would prefer to keep only two vehicles on the insurance. Unless someone gifted me a vehicle, doubt I'll be able to get a 3rd.

The TT is her dream car and I've vowed to keep it with us until the wheels fell off.

If she pops out a kid, we'll probably trade the passport in for a minivan. I'll probably want a compact sedan or subcompact SUV.

You don't need a minivan until you have 3. Trust me.

    2 month update:
She's driven over 2k miles with it and confident enough to drive an hour across town at night.
    Checked the oil/dipstick
Drove it on the parking lot

Everything seems well. Of course, now that I've posted this, I'll receive a text stating something catastrophic happened.
