Fog lights

I installed factory Mitsubishi fog lights on my 2023 Mirage BE. Wiring was there and switch is there. I have attempted the close all doors, fasten seat belt, start car and open & close driver door 5X's wait for beep and hold the fog lights on for 3 seconds but it is not working. Anyone have any suggestions? anything I might be doing incorrect? Any help is appreciated.

Did you install the relay in the underhood fuse box? I think that's required.

Have you seen this vijeo? I haven't watched the entire thing but thought it might be worth posting.
Does the indicator on the cluster turn on?
The fog lights will only work when the headlights are on(low beam only).
If you're using led light bulbs make sure the polarity is correct, sometimes you gotta flip the connector 180 or re-pin it.

I wonder if they changed something from 2021 to 2023? I would have assumed the same procedure would work for any year. Sorry, can't help you with that one.

This wasn't working for me either. Mines a 2019 though. At the end I went to the dealer to turn the function on with his etacs reader.
