Thread: Just bought a 2019 manual mirage, I hear a high pitched hum coming from the back

    Thanks for the replies and video! It seems easy enough. Now I need to find the part.

    The mechanic said he has no idea what it could be, seems to be electric because the pitch drops if you use another electric component (like closing the windows)
    He said the only way to diagnose for sure would be to replace the pump and see if it still happens. Now i'm on the lookout for a pump!

    I would personally look for a used OEM pump before I spent the money on a China brand replacement. I feel you would have a more reliable and longer lived part.

    Thanks for the advice, I actually found a used pump from a salvage lot not too far from me. I'll try to go grab it later and swap them on the weekend.
