    Almost Paid Off

    Hello everyone,

I bought my 2018 Mirage GT in January of 2019 for about $16k. I’ve never loved a car more, not even my dad’s restored ‘66 Mustang that he let me “have” for a few years. Of course, friends and family joke about my “clown car”, and they’re right. When I stop for gas on a nearly empty tank, and $20 later it’s full, I crack a smile. I might even chuckle. And that’s what a clown is supposed to make you do, right? Make you laugh? Yeah, I’d say my Mirage makes a pretty good clown car.
    Anyway…
I’ve been lurking on the forum for a few years now, and I’ve finally decided to put in my two cents.
After almost 4 1/2 years, I’ll be making my final payment on Friday and should have the title soon. I’m eager to start making some economy and comfort-boosting modifications.

    Sincerely,
    Daryl

Congrats Daryl - You should also post a picture up taken on Friday to show us the freshly paid off car. I'm curious as to what you're considering doing for economy boosting modifications.

For various reasons, I enjoy a vehicle that's paid off even more!

I see this is your first post! Welcome to the forum!

Welcome and great job paying off the car! Many people have a car note for much longer- you did quite well.

As soon as I paid off my 2017 ES Hatchback we were gonna spend the money somewhere, so I bought a 2023 G4 Black Edition.
