Australia: 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage review - ES auto (Carsguide.com.au)
Reviewer Craig Duff begins by pointing out that there sure are a lot of Mirages on the road... because Mitsu is dominating the "light car" segment in Australia:
Mitsubishi's baby sells more than the rest of the class combined. Put that down to a trendy palette, solid architecture and sharp prices.
He goes on to rank the car in the following areas...
- VALUE
- TECHNOLOGY
- DESIGN
- SAFETY
- DRIVING
Eagle eyed readers will note he gets at least one spec wrong in this piece.
If you've read enough Mirage reviews, you won't be surprised by his overall analysis, including a warning against loading up a Mirage with costly options which then make base trim competitors in the next higher class start to look more appealing.
Overall:
It feels durable, has a five-year warranty and doesn't guzzle the petrol — what more can be expected of a $13K car?
... The Mirage makes value-for-money sense in a segment where money talks.
