Hello,
Will the Pajero's antenna fit?

What about other antennas with a 15mm diameter at the base?

Thank you

Most are universal.
I learned my 17 has a pre-amp allowing the use of a stubby antenna. My 17 is a joke reception wise compared to my 14 with no pre-amp but a properly tuned antenna.
Morale of the story. If you have a pre-amp you should use a stubby antenna, long antenna, it probably doesn't matter. If your Mirage lacks a pre-amp then the length of the whip IS important, the wrong length will reduce your reception greatly.

I have a 17' antenna on my 14. It works fine for me. I had to cut some of the rubber base off to make it work though.

The diff between my cars is incredible! My 17 loses my favorite station after 35km and over water, Lake Ontario, it struggles to receive my fav. My 14 OTOH can be driven to mid-north Ontario and I STILL receive my fav. station, this is over 150KM as the crow flies, the practical limit of FM tech. I didn't know my 17 had a pre-amp. Mine might be buggered. For giggles I might try the 14 whip on the 17 to see if it improves.
