    Found nice tires and mags

When cleaning my garage out I discovered some nice looking 185/60-r14 tires on 5 spoke 4 bolt mags. For the life of me I don't have the slightest clue where they came from. I forget the tire brand but treadwise they look nearly new.

Has anyone used anything as large as 185/60-14 on the stock 2014 OR 2017 Mirage? My 2014 could use new tires and my 2017 is running around on winter tires as I write this. Any issues with fitment or interference?

tbh, I'm more than a little concerned what else I'm going to find as I continue to clean things out.

i run 185/65/14 Michelin defenders on OEM rims and aside from steering feeling heavier I haven't had any issues

    Factory tires (14" & 15") are 22.4" & 22.6" in diameter.

185/55r14 tires are too small (22").

185/65r14 tires are too big (23.5").

185/60r14 tires are just about right (22.7"). Good find in your garage! You are basically just running a slightly wider tire.

175/65r14 & 185/55r15 are commonly used alternatives to factory tires, & they are bigger (23").

Thank you Mark. It looks like I hit the jackpot with these. They are properly marked LF, LR and so on. the center caps are there. Guess who's mounting some nice 185/60R14 Monday? I wish I had time today, I'm doing a 600km road trip tomorrow and would much rather be on summer tires. Maybe I'll push myself and make it a long productive day.

I also found, to my delight, a few feet of gas tubing for my leaf blower and a gas tank for an old Deere riding mower I'm restoring. Not to mention my missing Loctite Red, various good hand tools an inductive VOM (I really missed that). I should clear out my garage more often.

I just wonder if using a 185/60r14 tire would affect the CVT(ie cause problems) and if it would affect the ABS and traction control?

I have a 5mt so no worries about loading up the CVT. I know from running oversize snow tires the ABS and TC still work as expected.

We run 185/60r14 on the work cars. One car that was bought used had 185/65r14's on the stock wheels. They didn't rub, at least not with an empty car.
