My friend made a few about it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BqRFuDipyc I'm pretty sure he just bought a Radley generator to try out too.

Apparently, you're not part of the chainsaw community (Novice Lumberjack, Buckin Billy Ray, Ironhorse, etc..).

it's all a matter of time, speaking of, I filled my oil tank with Dexron, sawed up a 1/4 cord of branches, my oil tank was EMPTY!

No oil on me, nor the logs, nor the ground. W.T.F? Chain looks only "adequate" for oil.

Chain Bar oil is designed to be "sticky" & cling to the bar & chain. The pump is calibrated for this type of oil. ATF is way to thin & the speed of the chain will just turn it into an invisible mist. That's why they sell summer & winter grades of bar oil...
I didn't know what to do, so I didn't do anything

Ah, so the oil is lost to the winds then. I recall my old man using nothing but used atf in his stillsons. I'm guessing the sold as bar oil winter stuff is thinner to not be horribly gummy at -40C? Guess I bite the bullet and get some summer grade Echo at my HH.

BTW, the $99 weedeater I snagged at HH is full crank. Not shabby at all. It started with 1/2 pull. Power to spare. color me impressed right now. If my Stihl decides to act up I'll buy one of the HH 20" 52cc saws for $130 in a heartbeat. I may anyhow. I might get lucky and get an old stock with 76 links and Oregon bar and chain.

Glad we got you here KL, you've got some good knowledge.

I'll have to go on the record saying that I wasn't recommending atf and engine oil, I just said I use it.

I also said my car seems to have more power after driving it into a river....
