Thread: How should I repair these scratches?

  1. #11
Rust belt? Then maybe get some weathertech floor mats too.

Winter can reak havoc to the floors of these things. Water/snow can run under the gas door release handle then freeze the handle so you can't open it. Salt stains the crapy "carpet" and if water/salt gets at some of the connectors behind the kick panel or under the seat you could end up with all sorts of fun issues down the road. All the Mitsubishi branded floor mats that I've seen so far suck, they don't cover the entire floor where your feet go and the rubber material wears out where you put your heel.

I like the Mitsubishi "high edge floor guards" I got but there's definitely room for improvement. Haven't seen the weathertech ones in person.
