Laws clearly say no blue lights, no red lights up front, and that signals must be red or amber in rear.
As long as the rear light is red or amber not continuously flashing and the brake light is still indicating it will be compliant.
I would not want to project a white light behind while going forward.
Really want more illumination out back because it is extremely dark here and people do not look where they are going.
It's often pretty dark in the dark over here too.
You're probably just experiencing the Rodney Dangerfield effect. They can see you but you're driving a car that gets no respect lol
Everyone will tailgate you in a Mirage and drive like you're in the way 98% of the time. It doesn't help if you believe the speedometer, the Canada spec models usually read about 5kph high so if you're following the speed limit you're actually doing 5-under. Compare with a speedometer app to confirm, I've checked it with a bunch of Mirages of all years and they're all out.
You could always just buy a an led strip light and tie into the license plate light.
