Guys, I think I found my next car. I had a feeling about that 2019! The dealer took it to Firestone for an alignment check and everything seems cool!
Pictures!

If I could pick any low mileage Mirage, it would be a 2019 ES manual.
Like mentioned before, it's the only year for the combination of manual transmission, manual climate controls, & factory cruise control. I'll take 7milesout's word on the A/C coolant being better, too.
2017-19 are the only years manual climate controls were found on the ES.
2019+ was the year factory cruise control became standard for all Mirages.

Eggman: I posted a link a few posts back, but this is the one in question.
Mark: thank you for your insights. I'm moving forward with the linked 2019 above! I'm super excited

Mine might work the same as this. And I have long beeped that Recirc button. I might not be explaining it correctly too.
Let me explain what happened this morning. I've made a concerted effort to run mine set on 62°, because at 62° nothing (seems to) be forced automatically. At a setting of 61° (which is as low as it will go), it will automatically activate the A/C, and you cannot turn off the A/C at the 61° setting. It also puts it in RECIRC mode at 61° setting, however, I think it can be changed to FRESH mode.
This morning, it was wet out, not raining but wet and probably 100% humidity. I didn't want to keep the windows down because the water on the car will drip in. So I wanted to keep the windows closed. Due to the humidity, I was going to have to run the A/C in FRESH mode or the windows will fog. Upon cranking, it was set at FRESH & 62° (as I'm trying to NOT use 61°), because the last time I drove it, I ran it at 62° with the A/C compressor turned OFF (fan only in FRESH mode, and left 2 windows down). So I cranked up, pushed the A/C button to activate it ... coincidentally upon activating the A/C, the sumbich switched from FRESH, where I had had it, to friggin RECIRC! I didn't ask it to change that, I didn't want it to change that, and there no damn reason for it to have changed it to RECIRC. And that pisses me the F off! It's just plain dumb to program it that way. I have to really watch this sumbich to make it do what I want. And I had to pooooosh the RECIRC button to put it back to FRESH mode. Stupid.
Once getting it set how I wanted it, it worked great, no problems with performance.

Modernist Dinosaur - If you buy the 2019, I think you'll be tickled with it, and I'll be all gell-assed.
