    Mitsubishi Mirage Review (autoexpress.co.uk - U.K.)

Overall a decent article that shows pros and cons. They tested the Mirage with the 1.0L manual transmission.

The new Mitsubishi Mirage is a cheap, fun and economical supermini that rivals the Volkswagen up!
    Pros:
    - Low running costs
    - decent space inside
    - easy to manoeuvre

    Cons:
    - Tiny boot
    - lacks refinement
    - dull interior design

Custom Mirage products: Cruise control kit, Glove box light, MAF sensor housing, Rear sway bar, Upper grill block

Current project: DIY Nitrous oxide setup for ~$100

Not too shabby. The cons basically come with the territory of small, cheap car. I'm more concerned about "car broke down after four miles" kind of cons.

Thats what I was thinking when I read it. It is an inexpensive efficient little car, why would you expect it to have a plush interior, or sophisticaed suspension? It doesn't make sense to me, but they are the 'professionals' who get paid to tell us what they think... for whatever that is worth. I agree that reliability is much more important, and time will tell how they hold up.
