100mile First Oil Change Results

I just bought a new Mirage ES ... oil was light yellow and clear on the dipstick when I bought it ... and ran it through the different rpm's to break in the engine for the first 100 miles ... did my first oil change and the oil was dark as soot! A glop of something also fell out into the oil pan!

We'll see what happens on my second oil change ... at around 250 miles

Yes, I plan on keeping it forever! ... I love the car, it's much more fun to drive than I expected! The engine sounds like a mini 6-er

Yeah it looked like honey on the dipstick so I was surprised to see all the dark sludge that came out. Maybe the sludge settled to the bottom?

I'm very surprised sludge would settle in only 100mi of driving.. could be some leftover liquid gasket or maybe assembly lube that doesn't mix with the oil.
I would like to see what my oil looks like at the 8000km change interval but I think I'm gonna let the dealer do the first change as a goodwill gesture.

Yeah it didn't look good, glad I got it out as soon as I did. Gonna put on a magnetic oil drain plug at 250 too.
