    Wheel spacers?

Any body have a take on them? I want to use them to give my factory 14" alloy wheels more width.

If anybody can give me some insight or even share your experience, please do.

    Thanks!

Very commonly used on ATV's without issue but moving rim away from hub does put more stress on bearings and steering gear. The way the car turns may also be affected.
    Will weld for beer.

    I agree with ^.

You're almost better off (although more expensive) trying to find wider wheels or wheels with a better offset.

I just found out that the factory alloys have +46 offset. That's so much inside...

What do you think I should get for my factory wheels?

Unfortunately, no one might be really interested with our wheels... Your best bet might be older Mirage/Lancer forums. But even those people would frown upon 14x4.5 wheels.

For the $56 I may just try a spacer while I save for some RPF1's in a 15x7 +35 and some new tires to stretch on them, anybody know of a place for good fender flares?

What's with all these +7 wheels on these cars. It's just so impractical.

You mean the x7? Just a wider wheel. Helps with the corning. More amount of tyre in contact with the road.

Trust me I would just assume keep my 44mpg city but the car is like one of those fat chicks with skinny legs. I feel like I am rolling in humpty dumpty!

    Hahahaha.
Well if you are coming from a car that was really heavy on petrol like me, it will never use the same,so fat wide tyres and some extra weight doesn't hurt :P
