I had had a stock radio.

As far as the handsfree calling goes, I pretty much gave up that feature with this new HU. I can, however, make calls via bluetooth on the HU but there are no voice commands. Luckily, there are no cell phone laws here in South Carolina just yet so it's not a huge loss.

The installer did a really nice job on the install.

Did he have any ideas for hands free calling?

Would you mind asking the dealer/installer what parts they used to surround the fascia of the stereo's DIN area? This is the cleanest install I've seen on these forums, and quite frankly the cost plus driving from north texas to South Carolina to have them install it wouldn't be worth the difference of ordering the parts myself, and doing the install since I know how.

I will find out for you, they are closed today so I will try to call them tomorrow if I remember. He told me upfront that they had to order it from over seas and took about three weeks to get to his shop. The kit altogether cost $150 I believe.

I would assume they just used a factory Double DIN fascia from a NAV model... that's what I was going to do.
