I installed the Curt 11394 hitch on my 2015 Mirage today. 🙂 I chose not to enlarge the hole or remove the bumper, but to struggle putting everything through the inconvenient "access" hole on the driver side. Removing the 12mm bolt allowed a tiny bit of wiggle room get everything through the hole. Eventually. This was my first time installing one of these (and using the cool fish wires) and it was a STRUGGLE, mainly because of that inaccessible hole. The YouTube instructional video was otherwise very helpful though. The instructions say 3/10 difficulty and 40 minutes for installation... hahah I disagree. 🥴 But in the end everything worked and now I just have to find a bike rack! ☺️

This is the trailer I bought, think it was $200US or so. It's rated for 950 lbs. ( which I doubt ) but the kicker is the tires are only rated for 50mph! donkey balls to that. Entire trailer weighs 110 lbs.

I plan on using it to move my 450 lbs. Suzuki Burgmans. I also plan to build an all aluminum box large enough to hold a Marshall stack (two 4x12" speaker cabinets and a pair of 100 watt tube heads, total weight ~450 lbs or so)

weird - I cannot get an image of the trailer to upload but it's 4x4 with 5.30/12 tires and about a 3 ft. tongue.

I have that trouble too sometimes. Upload an image as soon as you can, I'm dying to see this thing.

You must have a Burgman 400, because my 650 Executive was hog that swallowed a pig. It had to be 650+ pounds. I sold it about a month ago.

Here it is, the quality is very high for the price, I actually paid $149.95 US with free shipping. It was shipped to my US postbox in Niagara Falls, NY. I actually picked it up from there 2 days before America closed the border. Good thing because I refuse the shots and there's no entry for me without it.

It's amazing how heavy the 650 Burg is compared to the 400 considering their external measurements are pretty close. I was concerned the 400 would be lacking on the highway but damn!, pulls 2 up all day long in 95+ temps @75mph, and it still gets >80MPG! It's really an insane ride, my only regret is not discovering them earlier in my life.

Since I have a decent MIG with spoolgun I love to work with aluminum. I figure half a day to fab up the completely enclosed box for my Marshall stack and heads. That might weigh 60-80lbs. tops.

Having owned the 650, I think the 400 is a superior choice.
