    If you are planning on carrying a lot of weight in your Mirage, you may look at putting these on the back;

    I do not know if these will fit as I need to do some measuring to see. However, putting air shocks on the back would allow you to raise the back suspension back to factory and help the car over all deal with the extra weight. I think I may have to go this route due to the sub box I'm planning on building for the trunk.

    Anyone that has this installed please keep us updated if you decide to pull anything with it and details. I'm curious if a 5x8 utility trailer with a motorcycle would be practical.

    I plan on ordering one to pull a dirt bike/single mc trailer. The combo weighs around 500lbs. Its very common in my area to see subcompacts pulling dirtbikes and trailers, or trailers with 4 mtn bikes.

    Well you know rule of thumb is a car can pull the equivalent of its weight.. At least in other parts of the world. However I wouldnt try to pull any trailer without the anti sway bar.. And I'm hoping they make some aftermarket struts cause the tongue weight would worry me on the soft suspension.

    Fires tone ride rites; they make inserts that you fit in the spring (sometimes without even removing it) and pump with an electric/bike pump for towing stuff. nothing listed for the mirage but you can *call* and ask. often they have bags listed for one vehicle that fit multiple makes. http://riderite.com/ I saw a mirage the other day with a bike rack and two bikes on it.

    In Denmark the dealer has this equipment on their homepage..

    I can't upload pictures. So i used imgur to get the pictures online.
    Its a bit funny because I can't find the items online, but they seem to be there because of the catalogue..

    there is also a price list in the bottom of the page, 7 Danish kroner are about 1 USD dollar.
    I think this prices are just the equipment without installation..

    trailer hitch

    I bought a receiver hitch - have yet to put it on. Anyone else have one and how do you like it? How does the little Mirage handle a trailer? I want to tow a small motorcycle and the occasional trip to the recycling center.
