Sleeping in the Mirage?

Hello,

I was curious about strategies on how to "comfortably" sleep in a Mirage. I was able to recline the passenger seat to almost horizontal position, but then I had no more room for the legs.

Did somebody already make such attempts or even pass a night in the Mirage?

it would be great if you shared your thoughts.

Flip the back seats down and stretch out diagonally into the trunk area?

I did notice that the driver and passenger seats recline well... Better than lots of cars out there. I would probably put my feet up on the dash while reclined on the passenger seat.

I took my mirage camping for a night last month. I have the rear seat out and slid the passenger seat all the way forward. Cut a cardboard box to fit the rear deck and covered it with blankets and a sleeping bag. I laid diagonal with my head to the rear left and my feet under the passenger seat. I am 5' 8", for reference.

On a trip down to Florida, my Dad seemed to sleep pretty well in the passenger seat, laid most of the way back, feet on the floor.

^ If someone doesn't post anything before me, I plan to do this when I get the loaner Mirage from Mitsu Canada at the end of the month. Edit... actually, that's in just 2 and a half weeks. I'm excited.

I'll leave the seat removal DIY to you, Darin. I didn't take any pictures, and my rear deck is now covered in sound deadening material, covering the bolt holes. I'm sure you'll do a better job anyway.

I'm looking forward to hearing about your experience with the Mirage.

I may not want to give it back. "What? You loaned me a Mirage? When was that?"

Make a thread about it as my memory is worse than a computer from the 80s.
