Blue light and gear selector light

    Hi from Manila,

Just a few newbie questions. I cant find the answers in the manual. Pardon me.

    1) can someone explain the blue light right next to the side mirror controls? It stays on forever and is very bright. I believe that light is for the alarm system. Does it really stay on the whole time? Is there a way to switch it off?

    2) dont the gear selector labels (P, R, N, D, B) for CVT models light up at night?

    I own a Mirage G4 GLS CVT.

    Thanks!

    Kris

Seems to me you're referring to the Bluetooth controls. I don't think you can turn them off.

    Welcome kabayan!

I don't have any blue light by the side mirror controls... Maybe an alarm?

The gear selector label doesn't light up. If you're not familiar with it already (it won't take long), you'll have to look at the dashboard. My 1997 Pontiac Sunfire is the exact same way.
Custom Mirage products: Cruise control kit, Glove box light, MAF sensor housing, Rear sway bar, Upper grill block

Current project: DIY Nitrous oxide setup for ~$100
