I'm definitely interested in seeing the end result in photographic form.

Ive been searching forever on the spring rate. I know that even with stock struts the H&R springs give a much stiffer ride. Going down the freeway I go over a lot of bridges and all the bridges are at a different level than the freeway. Well when going over the bridges when I first had the car I had to make sure I was going at a perfect angle for the bridge because the car would start springing around which is kinda like soft bounces on the freeway(kinda scary when it happens and you aren't expecting it). After installing both the H&R springs and the rear sway It goes over the bridge and gives one bounce and its done. No more side to side(which I attribute to the rear sway) and the repeated bouncing(which I attribute to the soft springs).

The worst thing about the stock suspension is that when it sways or leans to one side it also steers in that direction and you have to crank the steering wheel in the opposite direction. Does the H&R springs help with that?

My review of my used H&R springs...

Yes they stiffen up the ride, how much without a sway bar... I do not know. Yes they are on the stiff side, with stock dampers this is to be expected, but out of all the cars I've been in with stock dampers and aftermarket springs this has to be the best riding, but if your not used to a lowered car with bad struts this will feel rough. Anyone that considers these PLEASE buy the sway bar first, it made such a huge difference in handling and I still had my soft spongy ride. With some after market dampers I am sure these will be a great budget option, I've always liked Koni dampers but that's just me. I plan on adding coil overs in a few years but this is a great way to get my mirage lowered for cheap for now.

Thank you! I am enjoying the stiffer ride, wish the driving enjoyment wouldn't be hurting my mpg... Just so much fun. Oh well my 45mpg tank may not be what I hope for but at least I'm still getting amazing mpg compared to most sports cars.
